Ingredients

For meatballs:

  • 1 pound ground meat (beef, turkey, or a mix)
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan
  • 1 egg
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 tablespoons chopped parsley
  • Salt and pepper

For pasta:

  • 1 pound spaghetti
  • 24 oz tomato sauce (jarred or homemade)
  • Extra Parmesan for serving

Preparation

  1. Mix all meatball ingredients in a bowl.
  2. Form 1-inch balls with your hands.
  3. Brown meatballs in a pan with olive oil for 5-7 minutes.
  4. Add tomato sauce to the pan with meatballs and simmer for 15-20 minutes.
  5. Meanwhile, cook spaghetti according to package directions.
  6. Serve meatballs and sauce over drained pasta with extra cheese on top.
