Ingredients

  • 1 bell pepper, sliced
  • 2 carrots, julienned
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • 1 small onion, sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1-2 teaspoons sriracha or red pepper flakes
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • Optional: cooked rice or noodles for serving

Preparation

  1. Heat oil in a large pan over medium-high heat.
  2. Add onions and cook for 1 minute, until slightly softened.
  3. Add garlic and ginger, stir for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  4. Add carrots and cook for 2 minutes.
  5. Add bell pepper and broccoli, cook for 3-4 minutes until vegetables are crisp-tender.
  6. Mix soy sauce, brown sugar, and sriracha in a small bowl.
  7. Pour sauce over vegetables and stir to coat everything evenly.
  8. Cook for 1 more minute until the sauce slightly thickens.
  9. Serve hot over rice or noodles.
