  • Serves 4 people, with 2 crepes each

Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 1/2 cups milk
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • Butter or oil for the pan
  • Fresh fruit or chocolate sauce for serving

Preparation

  1. In a bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, and salt.
  2. In another bowl, beat the eggs, then stir in the milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract.
  3. Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and whisk until smooth.
  4. Heat a little butter or oil in a nonstick pan over medium heat.
  5. Pour a small amount of batter into the pan and swirl to thinly coat the bottom.
  6. Cook for 1-2 minutes until the bottom is lightly browned. Flip and cook for another 1 minute.
  7. Transfer the crêpes to a plate. Repeat with the remaining batter.
  8. Serve the crêpes filled or topped with fresh fruit or chocolate sauce.
